I’m Kent Keirsey, a creative technologist and entrepreneur. I founded Invoke, a generative AI platform built for artists and creative teams. In 2025, Invoke exited to Adobe and continues as an open-source project maintained by its original team.
Much of my work has lived at the intersection of product, technology, and creative practice. As a product coach and advisor, I’ve helped teams navigate strategy, collaboration, and the ambiguity of making something new. I’ve connected the Atlanta product community, lectured and advised at startup competitions and hackathons at Georgia Tech and Emory, and mentored emerging product managers and founders.
My visual work explores authorship, ethics, meaning, and the strange negotiation between people and their tools. A Single Piece of American Cheese became the first AI-assisted image to receive U.S. copyright protection.
I write Sophrocyne, an irregular collection of essays about life, technology, business, and becoming. The name joins the Greek virtue sophrosyne—temperance and self-knowledge—with the Cynic tradition of questioning hollow social symbols.
